KYL was established with the purpose of creating a platform for cooperation, education and professional development. The organization is guided by clearly defined purposes that focus on strengthening young legal professionals and expanding their engagement at national and international level.
Our Mission
The mission of KYL is to promote cooperation among young lawyers and law students, to encourage engagement in international, national, regional and local conferences, and to improve knowledge and experience in European Law and International Law.
We aim to educate youngsters on the principles and purposes of international organizations and EU institutions while also educating Kosovar citizens on legal systems.
Our Activities
In order to fulfill its purposes, KYL undertakes various activities including the organization of public forums that encourage discussion among professionals and professors, especially in the field of law.
We establish exchange programs between national and foreign colleges and universities, organize Street Law courses for Kosovar citizens, and promote debates with public holders particularly in the field of European Law and International Law.
KYL also organizes trainings and educational courses for law and political students, supports research and publications, and creates initiatives such as a web page and Court TV program to improve access to legal information.
