Kosova Young Lawyers at the CONNECT International GA 2025 meetings in Brussels

Building a More Inclusive Digital Europe

In October 2025, Kosova Young Lawyers (KYL) participated in the annual General Assembly of CONNECT International, held in Brussels, Belgium.
As one of the founding members of the network, KYL has been actively involved in shaping CONNECT’s strategic vision and advancing its mission to promote digital rights, youth participation, and social inclusion across Europe.

“KYL remains committed to ensuring that young people are empowered to participate, engage, and advocate for their rights in the digital world.”

Collaborating for Digital Citizenship and Human Rights

The General Assembly brought together representatives from member organizations across Europe to share experiences, explore new initiatives, and make key decisions that will guide the network’s work in the coming years.
Discussions focused on strengthening digital citizenship, addressing the legal and ethical implications of technology, and enhancing cooperation among civil society actors committed to protecting human rights in the digital sphere.

📍 This year, CONNECT also welcomed new members from Belgium, Italy, and other European countries—expanding its reach and strengthening its collective impact.

KYL’s Ongoing Commitment

KYL’s participation in the Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to promoting human rights, digital inclusion, and the rule of law—not only in Kosovo but throughout the wider European context.
Through its engagement with CONNECT International and other regional initiatives, KYL continues to advocate for a safe, open, and rights-based digital environment for young people.
