A journey to discuss, learn and promote human rights – Human Rights Bus
This year we are going to mark International Human Rights Day, 10 December 2025, we are inviting young activists and engaged citizens to join a unique event — the “Human Rights Bus”.
This symbolic journey will bring together 50 activists from across Kosovo to read and discuss the 30 Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), with stops in Prishtina, Gjakova and Prizren for interactive activities, discussions, and photos with special UDHR article frames.
Throughout the day, participants will explore how human rights connect to key social issues — from equality and justice to access to education, housing, and freedom of expression. The event will also feature open conversations with local experts, young professionals, and civil society representatives who are working to advance human rights in their communities.
The “Bus of Human Rights” aims not only to commemorate Human Rights Day but also to empower the next generation to take action, raise their voices, and become ambassadors for dignity, freedom, and respect. Through dialogue and collaboration, this event will encourage participants to think about how they can contribute to positive change — starting within their own schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
By joining this initiative, you will be part of a growing network of young changemakers across Kosovo who believe that human rights are not just ideals — they are everyday essentials that shape a fair and democratic society.
👉 Apply Here by 5 December 2025 to take part in this inspiring trip reminding us that: “Human Rights are Our Everyday Essentials.”
