PermaYouth Erasmus+ Project Kicks Off to Cultivate Sustainable Futures

We at Kosova Young Lawyers are so excited to announce the official launch of the PermaYouth – Sustainable Youth and Permaculture Practices project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The kickoff meeting brought together in Tirana partners from North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, and Kosovo, marking the beginning of a collaborative journey toward promoting sustainable agriculture and permaculture among young people in the Western Balkans.

Led by Internacionalna Organizacija za Mladi (IOM) from North Macedonia, and in partnership with Best Seller (Serbia), Beyond Barrier (Albania), and Kosova Young Lawyers – KYL (Kosovo), this project aims to empower youth through accessible, interactive digital learning and hands-on experience in environmentally sustainable agricultural practices.

The PermaYouth project is designed to:

  • Develop and deliver online courses on sustainable agriculture and permaculture
  • Promote key topics like water conservation, food production, soil protection, and permaculture design
  • Equip young people with practical knowledge and skills through offline activities and community projects
  • Provide open-access booklets and digital resources for the wider public

By harnessing the power of education, digital tools, and international collaboration, PermaYouth envisions a resilient and sustainable food system in the Western Balkans and beyond—nourishing both people and the planet for generations to come.

Stay tuned for more updates, course launch announcements, and community activities as we take the next steps in growing greener futures together!
